Digestive system

The digestive system

 

Today i will be telling you all about the digestive system.

 

Esophagus: The Esophagus is made from muscles, My esophagus is about 10 inches long/ 24.8 cm, the esophagus is an organ. That is the esophagus now let’s move on to the Stomach.

 

Stomach: The stomach has gastric juices that kill bacteria, the stomach is like a mixer in side of you, gastric juices also break down food into smaller pieces. My stomach is 18.3 cm long. Ok now lets move on to the small intestine

 

Small intestine: My small intestine is about 8 m long, if you stretch an adults small intestine it is about 26 ft long. Lets move on to the large intestine.

 

Large intestine: My long intestine is about 1.5m long, The large intestine throws away waste that comes with poo, the large intestine is a small tube.

    Hi Hayes,

    You sure know a lot about the digestive system. Do you like learning about the human body? I cannot believe how long the intestines are. The intestines do important work for the body.
